Port Nature Apartment and Villas Cap d'Agde

Cap d'Agde, Languedoc-Roussillon, Cap d'Agde France

Accommodation

We can offer a variety of accommodation style, size and location at Port Nature. Because the apartments and villas are all privately owned, styles and furnishings vary quite considerably and owners tend to remove or change things during the season. Standard accommodation is modest but most has a balcony or patio. The French are great at squeezing sleeping space out of every last corner which means that, at maximum occupancy, space becomes rather limited. This might suit you if you don’t mind a squeeze or don’t intend to spend any time in the apartment but generally we would recommend that you choose a larger apartment and use the empty sleeping area for additional space and comfort. The accommodation is fully furnished and the kitchenettes are equipped with electric hob, fridge, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery; some have coffee makers and microwaves as well. Although many apartments are equipped with satellite TV, English channels are not guaranteed.

Superior Accommodation (+)

Much of the accommodation in Cap d’Agde remains as it was built and decorated in the ‘70’s. However there is a selection of the accommodation we use that has since been renovated. Although not luxurious, these are generally better laid out, with newer furnishings and more pleasing décor than the standard accommodation. Some of the superior accommodation is equipped with air-conditioning and a supplement is payable for these apartments.

Bed Configuration and Cabines

Some accommodation is described as having a ‘cabine’. This is just a sleeping area (usually an alcove or recess) just big enough to take a bed. Studios have either a double bed, two singles or a sofa bed in the living area. Larger apartments and villas will generally have a bedroom or ‘cabine’ with bed(s) for two people plus a further bed(s) or sofa bed in the living area.

Accommodation Codes

All accommodation for Port Nature start with PN. The number in the code advises the maximum occupancy of the accommodation and the final letter denotes the general direction the apartment faces (N for north, S for south etc and P is marina-facing). The code for superior accommodation carries a ‘+’ at the end. The sea is east! For example a PN2N is a Port Nature studio for two people, facing north, whereas a PN4+ is a superior apartment for four.

Accommodation Service

Apartments will generally be available from 17:00 on the day of arrival and need to be vacated by 10:00 on day of departure. The intervening time is required for cleaning ready for the next occupants.  On arrival you will be asked to provide a deposit for the apartment which is normally a credit card authorisation only. No amount is  taken from the account provided there is no loss, damage or unreasonable cleaning requirement. You will be given a set of keys plus a bag of linen containing your bedlinen, shower towels (not as large as bath towels), bathmat and tea towel.  If you are staying for longer than a week, you may collect clean replacements at the end of each week.
