Hedonism II Jamaica - the Location

Hedonism II is stretched along the northern end of Jamaica's famous Negril beach - a fabulous seven mile strip of beach heaven. Hedonism II is well known in Britain as the stars of the TV series, Pleasure Island and Caribbean Uncovered (however, there is normally a strict ‘no photography’ rule). Hedonism II Jamaica comprises two parts, one ‘prude’, the other ‘nude’, set in 22 acres of landscaped gardens with tropical plants and soaring guango, palm and fruit trees. There is even a small bird park at Hedonism II, with mainly native Jamaican birds –of the feathered variety! All facilities are available to all residents, but swimwear must be worn where facilities are located on the prude side of Hedo II.

The Beach

At Hedonism II Jamaica the small concrete pier divides the sandy beach into the 'nude' and the slightly larger 'prude' part. Each has a pontoon 20 yards off the beach, and there are plenty of sun loungers and lilos. Secluded hammocks for two are available in various parts of the grounds at Hedonism 2. The far end of this fabulous nudist beach is the best place to watch the romantic sunset for which Negril is famous.

Nude or Prude at Hedonism II?

Hedonism II has two distinct areas - the nude and the prude. Both have accommodations, a beach, pool, bar, and sunbathing areas. Guests can remain naked within the nude area of Hedo II day and night. All the restaurants and major entertainment are located on the prude side of Hedonism II where you will need to cover up, but don't worry - the skimpiest of attire will suffice!

Food & Drink

At Hedonism II you can dine buffet style in the constantly changing Tropical Terrace Restaurant. This large, open-air main dining room serves creative Caribbean surprises and traditional favourites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make reservations at Hedonism II’s culinary adventure, Pastafari - a unique Italian 'RASTAurant' with a Jamaican accent and a magic touch with pasta. In addition, there are 2 beach grills at Hedonism II, one located on the main beach and one on the nude beach. Enjoy sumptuous Japanese Teppanayaki style cuisine at Munasan where dining is an entertaining experience (open five nights a week). On the beach, the Reggae Cafe offers an authentic taste of Jamaica right on the ocean front and when the clock strikes twelve it's time for the infamous midnight buffet! There are six bars at Hedonism 2, including a swim-up bar in the nude pool. International and local premium-brand spirits, tropical cocktails, wine, Red Stripe beer and, if you insist, even soft drinks are on tap for 19 hours day and night. Try the‘Dirty Banana’ – crushed ice blended with half a banana, dark rum and coffee liqueur. Iced pina colada is available on the nude beach by self-service! There is also a soft drinks dispenser.

Facilities at Hedonism II

Hedonism II Jamaica is home to the fabulous Blue Mahoe Spa with its exotic and sensual range of treatments (at a minimal cost). Try the 'Champagne and Caviar Facial', the ultimate in facial treatments; 'His Delight', complete cleanse and soothing massage; or maybe the 'Fountain of Youth', a powerful and luxurious anti-ageing treatment. Hedonism II has both nude and prude outdoor fresh-water swimming pools; a small prude and a large nude Jacuzzi; a glass-bottom jacuzzi on the roof of the disco; as well as a nude misting pool.

Activities

All the following activities at Hedonism II are absolutely free, including tuition!

For land sports, choose from six floodlit tennis courts, volleyball, shuffleboard, basketball, badminton, and two air-conditioned squash courts. The new enclosed, air-conditioned fitness centre at Hedonism II is fully equipped with brand new state of the art machines and free weights. The games room has satellite TV, video games, pool and table tennis. There are bicycles, garden chess, a rock climbing wall, an ice skating rink, mini-golf, internet café and reggae dancing classes. Water sports include Sunfish sailboats, windsurfing, salt-water kayaks, snorkelling, scuba diving, water-skiing and glass-bottom boat rides. The dive shop offers equipment and tuition.

Entertainment at Hedonism II Jamaica

During the day, the large team of entertainers at Hedonism 2 organise a wide range of competitions: volleyball, bocce ball (similar to boules), aerobics, dirty-joke-telling and wet T-shirt contests (without T-shirts…), rum punch and beer drinking games, etc. Winners are rewarded with Hedo-Dollars which may be redeemed for prizes.

There is live entertainment in the evenings at Hedonism II: floor shows, Jamaican bands and performers, themed parties, e.g. toga (sheets provided), pyjama (as bare as you dare) and reggae beach (wet, wild and wilder) parties. Alternatively, there is an air-conditioned piano bar, complete with laser karaoke equipment to let you show off your talent!

The infamous disco at Hedonism II, below the pool with a see-through bottom, boasts state of the art equipment and opens from 23:00 to 05:00 hrs. Bring your most outrageous outfits (perhaps purchased in Cap d'Agde) which you dare not wear anywhere else!
