Location

Desire Pearl Resort & Spa is ideally located on a stretch of secluded powdered sand beach, at the edge of the picturesque fishing village of Puerto Morelos on the Riviera Maya, just 20 minutes from Cancun airport.

The Beach

The hotel is situated directly on an outstanding beach of fine white sand which is furnished with plentiful sunbeds, thatched sombrillas and a delightful wooden pier.

Naturism at Desire Pearl Resort & Spa

Desire Pearl Resort & Spa is a clothing optional, lifestyle resort. The beach, pools and wet bars are all clothing optional but guests are asked to dress to use the restaurants and lobby bar. House rules are relaxed but discourage overt sexual activity in public areas. The confines of the Jacuzzi Club and Sin Room are however, a different matter entirely.

Food & Drink

Food and drink is available on the all-inclusive plan around the clock, including 24 hour room service (although there is a service charge for this). Fine dining includes international gourmet options at the speciality restaurants, poolside lunch, daytime nibbles, late night snacks and complete room service menus for 24 hour dining. The bars serve premium alcoholic beverages, fine house wines, beer and refreshments. La Perla is a gourmet restaurant serving contemporary Mediterranean cuisine, influenced from the French, Italian, Spanish and Lebanese gastronomies. Mexican and Asian fusion cuisines are served at Jade, the resort’s avant-garde restaurant. Steak or Lobster Candlelit dinners for two in the beach gazebo may also be arranged but these are not part of the all-inclusive arrangement. Three bars, the Agave Lobby Bar, The Wet Spot and Lush serve a vast variety of cocktails and refreshments.

Facilities

Fronted by the white sandy beach with lush green gardens as a backdrop, the attractive, long and curvy Grand Pool is surrounded by sunbathing terraces furnished with comfortable beds and sunshades and serviced by a dedicated beach and pool concierge. There’s a further round pool. The holistic spa centre is a Zen-like oasis of relaxation where therapists offer a wide variety of treatments and facilities include sauna, steam room, showers and plunge pool. There’s a fully equipped gym, (non-motorised) watersports equipment, plus Desire’s own branded goods store. Internet access is available. Obsession is the resort’s tantalising nightclub. The Sin Room is, well, pretty much what it says it is and the Jacuzzi Club can get pretty sinful too.

Activities & Entertainment

There is a variety of beach equipment for non motorised water based recreation. Organized active sport such as water polo, basketball, volleyball is arranged. Gentler pursuits include stretching classes, meditation and yoga sessions. Entertainment is usually of an adult theme including belly and pole dancing classes.
